Here are two remixes that I’ve been listening to the past week or so. One is from Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosoars, who’s track ‘Trouble’ we featured yesterday. Today’s song is his newest single, due out in about two weeks on Polydor. Yesterday I mentioned that TEED and Joe Goddard are very much contemporaries, and this is a prime example of that. Here’s Goddard’s remix of ‘Garden’. Buy it on October 16th.

Secondly here’s some John Denver. Yes, the very same John Denver who your mum probably likes for the impossibly optimistic lyrics and melodies and who is, quite honestly, terrible. It would not be a stretch to say he makes my three least favourite artists ever. Which is why when I hear this remix of his “classic” ‘Country Roads’ (I much prefer Toots & Co’s version) I’m rather shocked. It is awesome. I must have listened to it about eight times back to back. The fact that Pretty Lights made it specifically for his set at a festival in West Virginia makes it even sweeter.
