Review: Belleruche – Rollerchain

Tru Thoughts’ Belleruche are now on to their fourth full-length release and they’ve made a concerted effort to shake things up a bit. We all know that they do the DIY electro-soul thing well, so it seems that they wanted to show us they can make a darker, more complex sound work too.

#169 – Mystery Jets Announce New Album ‘Radlands’

Anyway, the release date is 30th April and leading up to that they’ve got a whole bunch of intimate live shows. When I say intimate I mean around 500 people. Grab your tickets quickly as they will sell out in no time. All the dates are below and you can get your tickets here. Continue reading

#149 – Tennis ‘Origins / Deep In The Woods’

That’s the band Tennis. Not this (obviously!). They’ve been working on a new album called Young & Old which is a couple of weeks away from being released. Judging by the two songs on this page, we’ll have more of the same. So three and a half minute slices of fuzzy, pretty, sun-infused, piano/guitar pop songs with Alaina Moore’s delightful singing over the top. Continue reading
